Hello! My name is Jabneel.

Like many others, I caught myself in the middle of the pandemic thinking of what to do next. Life put me in front of UX/UI Design as the next path my professional career would take. Magically, it interlaces with my passions, my way of being, and my purpose— helping others through design.

Currently, I’m working for Ford Motor Credit Company as a Senior Product Designer for their Commercial Mission. My main focus here is to design FordPro™ FinSimple™, a new financing experience for commercial customers that will replace Ford Credit and Lincoln Automotive Financial Services.

Previously, I held a position with EV company Rivian as its Product Designer for SerivceOS, the app used by vehicle technicians to service consumer, commercial, and fleet vehicles. Before joining Rivian’s team, I helped American Express design a customer acquisition platform to support the International Acquisition team meet its business goals while having the users at the center of the design-thinking process.

But my professional career started in the media industry back in Puerto Rico, where I was born and raised. After many years, I transitioned to digital marketing and worked for companies like Norwegian Cruise Lines, REEF Technology, Quirch Foods, and Sky Chef, among others.

When I'm not designing or learning a new tool, I'm playing pickleball with my partner and friends. What is that, you might be thinking. Well, it's a sport where tennis, badminton, and ping pong meet. If you'd like to try it, I have to warn you that it is addictive!

I also have a human daughter and two 🐾 🐾 four-legged too!
